In the summers of 2023, 2024, and 2025 I had an opportunity to spend a week on the waters of Alaska’s Inside Passage cruising on a small boat with 6 other passengers. It was a marvelous experience which these images can only begin to describe. The scenery was magnificent, and the encounters with whales, eagles, and bears created wonderful opportunities for photography. The images here include locations from Juneau to Wrangell with time spent in Tracy Arm, Fords Terror, Endicott Arm, all around Admiralty Island, the east side of Baranof Island, Stephens Passage, Le Conte Bay, and many beautiful anchorages all along the way. Thanks to Captain Ben and the crew of the Discovery, a beautifully restored and maintained wooden boat, for all the attention on board.
