This visit to Ireland brought us to the western counties along the coast, Kerry (the Dingle Peninsula), Clare, Connemara and the Aran Islands. The weather in Ireland can be challenging, and we had a mix of good light and rain (Connemara). But when the light cooperated, these were marvelous areas to photograph. The stonework everywhere is marvelous, but of particular note on the Aran Islands where the walls are works of art, a testament to the vision and craft of the wall makers.
